We were visited by Inmaculada García on 18 July. The designer started in the fashion world at sixteen with design and patternmaking studies. When she was just twenty, she opened her own shop, where, at the request of her clients, she began designing custom handmade wedding dresses.
From that moment, she realized that she could convey something of herself in her dresses and an irresistible inspiration to create and design wedding dresses awakened in her. Spurred by her success, she began to produce her own exclusive Inmaculada García line of bridal and party gowns.
In 2007, at age 33, she opened a new atelier in uptown Barcelona and, in 2009, she began the process of manufacturing her dresses, but keeping the finish of each dress craftily made by hand with extreme delicacy on the production floor itself. Inmaculada Garcia shows her collection every year in Barcelona at the Pasarela Gaudí.
The designer took most of the photos in the 2015 catalogue of her collection at Mas de Sant Lleí and, on 18 July, she left one of her fantastic creations on display so that all our visitors can admire a crafty delicate bridal design made by Inmaculada and her team.
